Dear Parents and Guardians of New FHM Students,
Welcome to Free Horizon Montessori! We are excited to welcome your child and family to our community. We know you have many choices in education for your child and we deeply appreciate that you chose us. As we approach the beginning of the 2022 - 2023 school year, please see below for you next steps.
Print the New Student Registration Checklist and return it by Wednesday, May 25th, 2022.
To complete your child’s enrollment at Free Horizon Montessori for the 2022-2023 school year and secure your child's seat, complete and return the required checklist, paperwork, and payments by Wednesday, May 25th at 4pm, or by the date specified in your Enrollment Paperwork email. Please place completed packets in the black drop box in front of the school. The drop box will be out during business hours only.
Once complete New Student Registration Paperwork is received, your child will be officially enrolled at FHM for the 2022-2023 school year.
If at any time in the coming months you change your mind about enrollment at Free Horizon Montessori, please let us know right away so we can offer the space reserved for your child to another student on our wait list.

These should all be uploaded to your OLR, via Infinite Campus. If your student already has a Jeffco Student ID, this step is not necessary.

3.CSN and BoD Family Collaboration

- Now that you are enrolled in Free Horizon, you are a member of our CSN! The Community Support Network (CSN) is FHM’s version of a PTO. The CSN does so much to support our community, from fundraising to hosting community building events.
- FHM is governed by our Board of Directors (BoD). Made up of community members, the Board plays a vital role in determining FHM's goals and direction.

- New Family Orientation: Early August, specific date TBD
- New Student Visitation Day: Monday, August 15th, 2022.
- First Day of School for all students: Tuesday, August 16th, 2022. Please note each Friday is a 2:00 pm dismissal (3:15 pm Monday through Friday for PS-5th graders; 3:30 pm for Middle Schoolers).
- Student & Family Handbook
Once available, please take some time to review Free Horizon Montessori's Student and Family Handbook. The handbook is currently being updated and will be published on the website no later than one month prior to the start of the 2022-23 school year.
